Scafell Pike

Scafell Pike is a mountain in the Lake District region of Cumbria, England. It has an elevation of 978 metres above sea level, making it the highest and the most prominent mountain in England. The mountain is part of the Scafell massif, an extinct volcano, and is one of the Southern Fells. Whichever route you take, Scafell Pike is a tough, steep hike which involves scrambling over hard terrain. There will be challenges in any season: you might be met with high winds, rain, snow, extreme cold or poor visibility. Climbing Scafell Pike typically takes around 3-4 hours for the Wasdale Head route and 4-8 hours for other routes, depending on your fitness level, pace, and weather conditions.
