Myself and a client set out to do the Welsh 3000s. As we set off up Snowdon in the dark we knew that it was going to be windy up there but hey, a little bit of a breeze wasn't going to stop us, right? Well after being blown off our feet several times on the way up on the Pyg, on Snowdon peak and then on the completely exposed peak of Garnedd Ugain we decided that perhaps it wasn't sensible to continue to Crib Goch and try to cross the knife edge ridge, and that maybe the Welsh 3000s could wait until another day.
