Back in March 2014, my friend Shawn and I went to Spain and walked/climbed the Caminito del Rey, a 100 year old footpath on the side of a cliff which has fallen apart in many places. I would not recommend this place to people in wheelchairs or people with prams. When we were there we learnt that the Caminito was due to be demolished the next week, and rebuilt into a tourist attraction! Therefore, not only were we extremely lucky with the timings, but this might also be the last ever video filmed up there when it was in ruins!
